Lamnr is free to use. In exchange, we're direct about what we collect and what we do with it. By creating an account and using Lamnr, you accept the terms on this page.

What we collect

Account information: your email address, display name, and any profile image you upload.
Aquarium information: tanks, livestock, water parameters, maintenance logs, health events, breeding records, notes, and photos you add to the app.
Basic usage information needed to run the service, such as sign-in activity.

How we use your email

We use your email to run your account: sign-in, password resets, and important service notices.
We may also use it for marketing and product updates, such as new features, guides, and mailing list messages.
Marketing and notification emails are enabled by default. You can turn them off at any time in Settings, under Communication. Service and security emails are always sent.

How we use aquarium data

All aquarium and fish information is collected and charted so we can build recommendations, spot patterns, and study how various species are kept successfully.
Any of that information used for research, published findings, or community resources is anonymized first — stripped of your name, email, and anything that identifies you or your account.
Anonymized, aggregated results may be made public or shared to help the fishkeeping community.

What we will never do

We will never sell your data.
We will never give or hand over your personal information to another party for their own use.
We will never publish identifiable information about you or your tanks.

Data you choose to share

Group Sync shares the tanks and tasks you choose with the members you invite.
Pet sitter links share only the tanks and tasks attached to that link, and expire on the date you set.
You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal records.
